Megans having 7oz per bottle but I'm interested how many your 4-5 month olds are having or were if you remember? & how many bottles do they/did they have in one day (first to last bottle of day)?

:D x

Reason for my curiosity ...creating a new thread for that.

Umm Brooke was on 6 1/2oz 5 times a day if i remember right at that age

What was her routine times if you remember?

Isobel is nearly 4 months, she's on 6oz 5 times a day. In the morning they are 3/3.5hrs apart and afternoon 3.5/4hrs a part. First bottle 5am/530am. Last bottle 7pm-8pm depends on the day really.

Girls do you mind giving me a rough guide of your routine ...wake time in morning, bottle times, nap after all bottles & bedtime?

Also if you wake LO for feeds or they wake on their own?

x

0530 - bottle
0630 - nap
0900 - wakes up herself
0930 - bottle
10/1030 - nap
12/1230 - wakes up herself
1230/1300 - bottle
1300/1330 - naps
1630/1700 - have to wake her for a feed otherwise she misses a bottle, then doesn't sleep through
1800 - nap
1840/1900 - wakes up herself
1900 - bath, bottle
1930/2000 - bed

Very rough guide

Hmmmm

1630/1700 - have to wake her for a feed otherwise she misses a bottle, then doesn't sleep through
1800 - nap
1840/1900 - wakes up herself
1900 - bath, bottle

Maybe thats where we're going wrong - although experience showed she wouldn't be too happy taking if woke but time moves on huh We had said about this today so we're going to wake her for 3rd bottle!

Nice early start there Nat

Alex is 4 months and weighs 12lb 2oz

06.00 - bottle 3oz
07.30 - nap
09.30 ish- bottle between 4-6oz
play time
13.00 ish - 4-5oz
nap
16.30 - 3-5oz
nap
20.00 - 4-6oz
sleep
22.00 dream feed about 2-3oz

:flower:

doubt Hannah's schedule will be much help as she was more like Caitlin than Megan on the milk drinking

but she was roughly on 5 bottles a day, 4-6 ounces per bottle (though usually closer to the 4-5 ounce range)

We roughly fed her every four hours

7/8 wake up and bottle
12 bottle
4 bottle
8 bottle and bed
middle of the night bottle anywhere from 1-4

and don't shoot me but she also had cereal in the evenings around 5/6

for her naps she wasn't in any form of routine, she would stay up around an hour/hour and a half and than sleep 30-45 minutes

5 bottles 7oz.

5am
10am
1pm
4pm
7pm

Her 5am bottles is now 9oz. She has got hungier in the last week.

Oh I love that early start  but not too bad she goes back to sleep quite quickly.. between 40mins and hour. If I don't wake her all her times up the shoot and doesn't go to bed early... Sometimes she doesn't go to bed at 1800 but goes to bed early..

Vickie Megan was so unlike Caitlin but she appears to be turning the same - only Caitlin was from day 1! Its amazing I have forgot so much I think if someone randlomly asked I'd off the top of my head remember but now its ME I have forgot the more I think ...You'd know because I spoke with you about my way  I won't shoot you :winkwink: I've been introducing tastes now. Megan is not petitie like Caitlin far from so I'm not worried but I don't want 3 bottles - 4 made me a bit uneasy BUT she had plenty since birth she went up and up since hitting 7oz the problems have started I think (sucking it dry).

I put gaviscon in her last bottle and shes napping now in the garden - some fresh air :D so we'll see how todays plan goes and that is wakening her on the 4th hour if not awake!

Caitlin still has cereal, porridge or a muller rice at bed time - its the only way I can get milky stuff in her until I introduced breadsticks and dairylea cheese to dip shes always been funny with cheese too!

Were a week away from 4 months but heres out routine

8-8.30am wakeup and bottle
nap
12-12.30pm bottle
nap
4pm bottle
7pmish bath, bottle then bed by 7.30pm
2-4am bottle

He takes 7ozs each time, the naps are whenever he gets tired- theres no set times for them.
If hes asleep we will wake him for his feed.

MY twins have between 4-6 5-6oz bottles. Sometimes they have small top-ups inbetween because they're very, very hungry but can't take more then 6oz at one time :)

Chloe is nearly 4 months and she's already on 7oz every 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

8/9am -wakes up and has a bottle (7oz)
10.30 - nap and wakes herself up
playtime
12/1pm - bottle (4-7oz)
3pm - fights sleep but eventually naps but not for long
playtime
4/5pm - bottle (6-7oz)
6pm - last nap (most days) wakes herself
8/9pm -last bottle (5-7oz) and bedtime

She's really fighting her daytime naps but is so ratty if she doesn't sleep and always wakes herself.

Ruby is week or so off 4 months but is 15lb10oz so is a big girl.
She has 9oz bottles (and drains them) every 4 hours. I wake her at 7am. She naps for about an hour between each feed. She goes down after her 7pm bottle, we dream feed at 10.30pm and she doesn't feed again until 7am next morning.

Layla has:-

8am
12pm
4pm
8pm

all 6-7 oz bottles. sleeps about 2 - 3 hours in day if that. sleeps through 8,.30 - 6.30 most times. having tea 3 spoons baby cereal. I wake her 4 hourly if she's sleeping but at night dont touch her!

Hiya
Chloe is 2 days older than Megan, she really is not fussed about milk, she never cries for her bottle so i'm constantly clock watching to see if she is due an feed, her routine is usually.

Bottle at 6.00am
back to sleep
Wake up at 8.30am
Bottle at 9.30am
Nap about 11.00am
Bottle at 1.15pm
Nap about 3.00pm
Bottle at 5.00pm
Bath, bottle and bed about 8.00pm

These times vary she usually has 7 oz bottles 5 x a day but hardly ever finishes them usually about 5 oz but thats on a good day. These last few days she has missed her 6.00am bottle so has only had 4 bottles during the day not sure if I should be waking her at 6.00am but I hope nobody says I should - ha ha x
