I have been exclusively bf up until 4 weeks ago I was doing all-night feeds (usually twice per night although he woke more often). We introduced a bottle when he woke 11-12 so OH could be involved and I could get more sleep. Initially he only took 3-4 oz but that has increased and now he is wolfing down 8oz and could probably take more.

I am just worried this is to much. Since starting the bottle I haven't needed to bf him before his normal wake time (7.30) where before I would normally have fed him at 5am.

As we don't have much experience of FF is what he is taking okay?

He is on the breast 4 times I sometimes give him extra feed with this hot weather though. He has dropped a day feed I suppose, but then his solids have been getting bigger (after a solids strike for 2 weeks!!) And is on 3 meals a day. I got him weighed and he put 19oz on in 2 weeks!! Saying that though he only put 2oz on in the previous 4 due to his suddenly refusing solids after going great guns initially.Sorry bit off topic there.

He is still taking the full 8oz should we add more? At lot of my friends babies have stopped their night feeds therefore sttn. I am not expecting him to sttn but the fact he is taking such a a lot ,as it seems to me, means he won't be sttn anytime soon?

Sounds fine to me. If he's gaining weight still and is happy in himself then nothing to worry about! X x xx
