How much formula - advice please x

Hi

Harry is 6 weeks old now and when we were in SCBU he was on 60ml every 4 hours. We were home when he was 7 days old and after about another week i upped it to 90mls because he was polishing off every 60ml bottle. He only had about 75mls every 4hrs but i made up the extra etc. He has been polishing off the 90mls bottles for the last 2 weeks but in the last week he has been a bit more frantic and seems hungry afterwards. For the last 2 days i have been making up 120mls of aptamil and he is taking about 110mls every 4hrs. (on demand but its about every 4hrs ro 4.5 hrs)

He was 4lb 12oz when born
I had him weighed on Wednesday and he is now 6lb 15oz
Am i giving him too much for his weight of 6lb 15oz?

He hasnt been sick or constipated and is contented after the bottles so it seems right but seems alot....maybe its a growth spurt?

advice please on what you would do

Ellie was 4lb 3oz at birth but dropped to 3lbs and came home 7 weeks later but she was a day old corrected so she came home on 3oz every 4 hours then I just really done demand feeding to ne honest and after around 4 week she settled to 4 oz every 4 hours and now I make up 4 oz bottles and when she starts to fin them then I will make up 5 oz bottles, go with yout instincts xx

We just go with what feels right. Our twins are 6 weeks corrected - 16 weeks actual, at the moment Aimee has 4oz of NP2 with Gavison on demand, that can be as little as 3hrs during the day and 6 hrs during the night. Sometimes she finishes it sometimes she plays around after 3oz. Ethan has 7oz on demand, at the moment that's 4hrs during the day and about 6hrs at night, he finished every bottle in about 10 mins. Aimee is really good at winding and will bring up a burp easily, Ethan can hang on to it but Gripe Water does help.
