Hi all
I have a 3 week old daughter and she is draining 120ml bottles every 3-5 hours. The thing is she doesnt stop and would take more and more until she makes herself sick.
I have never had this with the 2 previous babies and would always make a bottle up which was more than they would drink so I know they have had enough.
She is settled most of the time after a bottle but wondered if anyone else has experienced this or how much their 3 week old baby takes.

At 3 weeks my LO was on about 5-6oz every 3-4 hours. 120ml is only 4oz, so I'd say there is plenty of room to offer more if she wants it. Just let her have as much as she wants - and be ready to catch it if any comes back! Limiting her intake will only cause you problems down the line, she has to learn about feeling full!

My LO is 4 weeks she has 5oz bottles, she doesn't always take 5 but sometimes will and she has done since like 2 weeks because she started taking the whole 4oz.

My little one is 2 weeks and takes 120mil every 2-3 hours :) x

Reagan takes 4oz every 3-4 hrs at the moment........except this weekend when we were having a little growth spurt and was eating every 2 hours:) she will be 3 weeks tomorrow. That is mixed ebm with 1oz of formula mixed in though so not sure if that makes a difference or not sorry:(

Thanks all, it puts my mind at rest a bit. She took a 5oz bottle last night and drained that as well but was completely zonked out! lol

sounds like you have a hungry baby i had the same with my daughter she always wanted feeding it felt like all i sid was give her bottles every two hours and would drain the bottle it was a nightmare i changed her milk to hungry baby formual and gradually she went longer in between her feeds but she has always been a hungry baby all babies are different and im sure she will grow ouot of it i would run it past your health visitor of=r doctor but would definatly consider putting LO on hungry baby milk good luck :)

I was considering the hungry milk, both my other babies went onto it and it worked well.
She is draining the 5 oz bottles since yesterday and not bringing up alot so think will definately be looking into the hungry milk soon.
