Going to introduce some formula.... If she takes 6 oz expressed breast milk is it the same for formula?

No, formula is usually more. I'd try 8oz. But 6oz is a really large bottle of EBM.
 
May I ask why you are supplementing? Supplementing will likely diminish your supply, if you are having low supply issues.
