how often do you breastfeed you LO?

my baby is 3 weeks old today and he's been feeding a lot. sometimes i would feed him for 30-40 min then he has 15-30 min break then he wants more. and he doesn;t seem to sleep like 18-24 hours a day like other babies, he only sleep maybe 12-15 hours a day and eats for the rest of the time,lol

how often do you feed your babies and how much do they eat?

At that age that's about right. They eat about every 2 hours and that's from the beginning of the feed. There are a lot of growth spurts the first 6-8 weeks and it seems like they eat non-stop. It slows down considerably after the first 2 months.

Yeh, I was glued to the sofa for the first 6-8 weeks. That said, even now Kaya feeds every 3-4 hours.
