How often do you feed your prem baby?

The SCBU pushed me on the 4hourly but we have gone between 3 and 4 hourly over the last few weeks. Some people tell me 4 hours is too long between feeds and it should be 2.5 or 3 hrs

what do you think?

I was breast-feeding so fed on demand.

If he is settled between feeds then I would say it is fine.

you said hs taking a fair bit, if hes gaining and happy between feeds then i guess its just his way! try not to worry

my Harry was and still is demard fed but your harry sounds like he is doing great and is gaining weight so let him set his routine!

Ellie would never go longer that 4 hours even til now with exception to night time where she goes all night now xx

scbu put kayah on 5 hourly feeds, she is stil on 5 hourly feeds

when Anna came home she was on 4 hourly. I felt like a right evil mum one night I was shattered and she slept 8 hours! I felt terrible. But then I realised well if she was hungry she wpuld wake.
In the day she was 3-4 hours between feeds and I would feed her early if she wasnt settling between feeds

She was a week before term when she came home, and well I know newborn term babies that are fed 4hourly so where is the problem?
