I have an induction scheduled in about two weeks due to a blood clotting disorder. I would like to go into labor on my own though. Are there any safe ways to bring on labor that actually work?
I think it depends on if baby is ready to be born If these may work a little if at all . I don’t think there is any proven way to bring on labour yourself at home ?!
Few things I’ve heard are
Waking up and down the stairs
Bouncing on a birthing ball
Pineapple the core too (loads apparently )
Midwife membrane sweeps
Spicy foods
Sex
Nipple stimulation
Clary sage oil in the bath
What's worked for me in the past is nipple stimulation with orgasm and bouncing on ball. Everything else I would try and it would do nothing but everyone is different
I think it depends on if the baby is ready or not to naturally induce early labor. I bounced on a ball a lot with our daughter and she came right on her due date but very quickly. I have heard of evening primrose oil but look it up because I can’t remember how far along they recommend taking it.
My friend got induced with her second boy, it was on her due date or right after and it didn’t work. She got sent home and then had him almost a week later. So I guess even induction isn’t a for sure thing if they aren’t ready.
