Hi ladies!
Wondering how and when to start pumping for extra supply. I can't remember for the life of me how I did this before with my last one. I don't go back to work until July- but I would like to get a work supply going sooner rather than later.

When and how do I do this??? If not for my supply at work, how do I get a bottle going for the six week mark?

I'm lost...help?!

I think by about 4wks your milk supply will have regulated; pumping before then can lead to supply issues I think (mostly oversupply).

I started pumping around 5/6 weeks (working by 9 weeks). I used to pump after the 11pm feed (because it was quiet and I knew baby was less likely to wake up any time soon) but I had a friend who successfully pumped after morning feed. Whatever works for you really, that supply in the freezer is a must for working mums :D

In terms of getting baby to take a bottle I guess I was lucky, both mine just did (although from DH and my mum, not me).
