How to quickly post photos on BnB from Facebook

Hi

I thought i would do a quick 'how to' on posting photos on BnB from Facebook as it makes things 1000x quicker and easier as you can just upload them to FB once and as we all post nearly everything of FB but then can't be bothered re-posting them on BnB. Now you can and the photos will also be fullsized and no shrinking or compressing necessary. Also it is not leading people to your FB account so it is not compromising your identity.

FYI different web browsers will change how it works the photos i have show what google chrome looks like however Mozilla firefox is extremely simlar

Google chrome and Mozilla



Step 1

Open The Album you wish to use the photos from on Facebook. Right click on the photo you wish to put on BnB and click "Open Link In New Tab" shown here

Step 2 - important

As you can see in the red circle the new tab is now up on top the page and you can find your opened picture in this new tab.

This is important because if you simply left click on the picture to open it when it opens it will not open in a new tab it will open like a pop up which doesn't give you the next right click option you need. you must be viewing the photo on a page that looks like this one.

Step 3

Now right click anywhere on the photo and select 'Copy image URL' in mozilla it will say 'copy image location' shown in the Red circle here

Step 4

Now on your new post on BnB to post a photo click on the picture of the mountains as shown in the small red circle. Now right click and select paste in the new window that has opened as shown in the big red circle. Now the FBs photos individual web address is now pasted. Once you hit OK it will now be on your post and when you finish your current post will be displayed for all to see

Internet Explorer Version 8



Step 1

Okay open the Album as per normal so you have all the thumb nails on the page and left click the photo you wish to use and this will open the photo with the black background (as shown). Now right click on the photo and choose "properties'' as shown in the picture below

Step 2

Now with the properties displayed you need to locate "Address (URL)" and highlight and copy the adress listed as shown in the picture below

Step 3

Now on your new post on BnB to post a photo click on the picture of the mountains as shown in the small red circle. does this work though if the settings on facebook are for friends and family only, also do the photos link to the facebook album (ie if someone clicks one of the photos will they be redirected to the album)

Yes it works even if the photos are set to private and no it doesn't link it to the album

im using windows 7 and not google chrome - and i cant get the option to open the image in new tab from the album overveiw, if i click on image i want the open in new tap it takes me to next pic in the album and no option to copy url = so im just getting a box with an x

help

That link won't work because thats the link to the facebook page not the facebook photo only. So your kind of asking bnb to show a page as a photo which is why it won't work.

Windows 7 will be your operating system not your internet browser. Your probably using internet explorer. I dont use internet explore as I hate it and when I did these instructions I tried to update my internet explorer to the latest one so i could include it in my how to but my computer had a hissy so I gave up and stuck to mozilla and google chrome. But i'll try again now for you and update this post with the results.

Also mozilla and google chrome are just the programme you use to look at the internet. It just means your.tabs might look a little different and things like the home page button might be in a different spot. Also they are legally free to download.

ok i am updating post one within 10mins to include internet explorer instructions. However i had to use Internet explorer version 8 and you are probably using version 9 so it could quite possibly be a little different. Please let me know if you have any problems
