hsg test on friday. pls answer if you have had HSG testing done

I have the HSG testing on friday. Has anyone had the HSG and the saline infusion sonogram done in the same day?

I just had an HSG this morning...very crampy, but quick. That's all I had today, though.

I had an HSG done last June..there's about 20-30 seconds of bad cramps and then its fine I was told to take a few Panadol or Nurofen before hand which I did do. But tbh I would have been fine if I hadn't taken anything Best of luck!!

Sorry I'm a little late to reply. I had my HSG done last month (March'11). It was VERY quick and not too bad. Felt like a really bad cramp, but it was over so fast. I took 4 Advil before going (about an hour in advance) and then felt mostly fine right afterwards. I did bleed for the next few days, but nothing awful. mine showed something on the right side of my uterus, so I'm having a hysteroscopy done next week to look for adhesions (scar tissue) and hopefully remove it.

I don't have any advice to give on this subject, but I am also going in for an HSG test. Mine is next week. I'm definitely glad I stopped in to read these post, as I really had no idea what to expect at this test.

I had an HSG done in October and I felt nothing. The next day I had some cramps, but nothing major.

I had this test done back in September and similar to just about everyone had some cramping right after but nothing major. Hope it goes well for you!
