HSG test tomorrow

Hi everyone

Im 30 years old and been TTC for almost 2 years.

Tomorrow im having an HSG carried out and to be honest im feeling very nervous.

Looking for some positive feedback to put my mind at ease. 😄

They're honestly not so bad, take a couple of paracetamol beforehand in case you get cramps but you will be fine, good luck today x

Hi Kelstar,
I had an HSG test last September and for me, it was extremely painful. My dr said it was most likely due to one of my tubes being closed. I also hadn't taken any pain meds prior to the test. I found out a month later that I was pregnant. Sadly, that ended in a m/c. My dr. is performing another HSG test in a few weeks - this time he gave me valium to take prior to. If affects everyone differently. My sister-in-law didn't have any discomfort during it. I wish you the best of luck!
