Hi All

After taking advice from my health visitor, I am introducing some hungrier baby milk (Hipp Organic) into his feeds, we only started last night and tried two bottles of it, one at 7pm and one for his dreamfeed at 11pm. Didn't seem to make a difference, he still woke up similarly.

Does it take a while to take affect, or if it didn't work last night is there any point continuing?

He is 8 weeks old, and weighed 14lb 8 two weeks ago and is being weighed later today...he is a big boy!

Thanks

I think i read somewhere it can take around 2 weeks, we completely swapped rather than alternating between normal and hungry. I have a big boy too, at 8 week he was 15lb2
Also on normal SMA he fed every 1.5 hours but when we changed to HB he started going 2-3 hours xx

Thanks - had him weighed today at 8 weeks and he was 16lb 3! What a pork chop!

Thanks I will keep trying then and see how we go! The doc wasn't much help today when I asked her!

Did you wean him early or wait till 6 months?
x

Aw bless him! He is very cute! He does have reflux and we tried him with baby rice at 3.5 months in hope of it helping, but he wasn't interested at all. We tried again last week with pureed veg in the evening and he loves it! So 4.5 months i would say he was ready xxx
