husband left milk out overnight!! is it still OK?

My husband puts out son to bed each night and gives him a bottle of expressed milk. I came in just now, almost 7 hours later and found an almost full bottle sitting there. My son drank a bit but most is still there. Is it safe to keep the bottle or do I need to dump it? I wanted to cry seeing it there!!

I know the feeling personally, I would dump it. Especially if the baby had drunk from it.

Freshly expressed, 6-8 hrs at room temp, but once it's been drunk from the bacteria from LO's mouth would probably shorten that. As much as it sucks, I'd probably dump it.

And give your DH a stern word about being careless with liquid gold...j/k!

I would dump it hun as that is quite long to be left out. So frustrating though

I dumped it but it pained me!! Wasting breast milk is the worst!!!
