I am being referred

Hi everyone... sorry that we are all here .. but glad we are not alone :)

My consultation was basically just a chat about my history, "symptoms" etc.

I have had a CD21 test - shows I ovulated - at least for that month.
I am due for a glucose blood test - like diabetes - but can show why hormones will not allow a pregnancy
I am due for a whole wack of other blood tests - not sure exactly - I could find the referral and write them

Then when I get lovely af cd1 - I have to call the clinic - and they will book all the appts for the month
Day 3 - I will have a blood test for egg quality and quantity
I have to have an ultrasound on my thyroid
I have to have an internal ultrasound regularily so they can watch the follicals (eggs - mature - at what number of them and health of them and rate at which they grow - if and how many are released)
I am going to have a sonohystogram - to see if my tubes are blocked

Then we will see

And my DH has already had a SA and has to go for a wack of blood tests too

How about everyone else - what have you had so far or what is the next steps for you?

Hi all,
I know i shudn't b posting in here but me and my oh were refered to the gyno last week because i have pcos, 1 tube and my womb is all to the left. I found this out about 10 years ago when me and my x were ttc. Im really worried about getting the appointment tho as i have had all the test b4 and im scared that they won't be able to offer me any help. The last time i ttc i was on clomid for 18 months (the full time i was married lol) and i got nowhere with it. My oh is aware of the test he will have to do and is fine with that.
Hope every1 is well and we all get our :bfp:
xx

I don't know why you think you shouldn't post here - why not.

I am so sorry of the experiences you have had.

Our bodies change a lot over time - you said 10 years - who knows maybe things are better now - I don't think that the tests would be useless.

:hugs:

Hi its just coz i've just joined but i read it wrong lol. I can post but cant change the group im in (ttc) for a month. I haven't recieved my appointment for gyno yet but hopefully it won't b long tho. The last time i ttc i have to go for blood tests every 7. 14, 21 and 28cd's as well as having and xray on my tubes and a whole bunch of other tests. Fxd this time will b the right time. Good luck to every1 xx

The tests that I have received Rumpskin...and I am assuming that yours will be similar since we both have recurrent miscarriage and difficulty conceiving are progesterone tests, HSG, endometrial biopsy, laproscopy, hysterscopy, D&C, and other blood work. DH was just scheduled for his sperm analysis...as we are technically getting pregnant, this was not a priority for the DR's, I guess. You are right. It won't all happen at once. I have had these tests through out the last 12-18 month but mostly we have been TTC as normal except more monitored and with some drugs. I would not say that I am "strong" but rather more determined. I have been through so much...I am not ready to back down! Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hi honey.

Im sorry to hear about recent events:hugs: Hopefully they will be able to shed some light on your situation and you can finally have that little miracle you so very much deserve.

Love
Jac xxx
