I cant shave anymore!! TMI

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but I've just used veet on my bikini area, it was one of the first things I asked my MW about at my checking in appointment at 8 weeks and she said it was fine to use. I use it with a mirror cos im on my own. I'm planning on using it on my legs too but I find if I sit on the edge of the bath with the left leg to the left and the right leg to the right, I can just about manage to shave the bottom of my legs, below my knee. Frankly, I don't care about the rest

Ouch! Veet leaves me with really irritated red sploches on my legs

I shave my legs after I get out of the shower. I stand and place one leg up on the side of the bath or on the sink.

I remove the hair on my bikini area using veet hair removal cream and looking in the mirror.

I wish I could use veet but I get bumps and itch, my skin seems super sensitive towards that stuff. I never thought to ask my husband. Good idea. I think I'll ask him to help me next time. Im sure he will laugh and make fun of me but im sure hell help me. Hes the one that has to deal with it even though, our sex life is becoming a hassle as well!

I know what you mean i can not longer shave my bits and have to ask DH if he doesnt mind to shave my legs lol i think id go crazy if i couldnt shave the legs at all!

Hehe I go a little stool to do my legs.. last time I blind shaved my bits tho coz there aint no hope of seeing those things from now on habaa.. didnt go that bad only one small cut...

But razor cuts suck so I think maybe waxing or dh may shave it for me...

I've always been able to shave my girly parts without looking so that's not a problem. But I can barely bend over to shave my legs even if I put my leg up on something...hell, I can barely put my socks and shoes on without pain!

I asked my OH to sort out my lady garden a good few weeks ago (as he was moaning about it). I usually wax, but as I can't see clearly and I'm on (self imposed - sort of) semi pelvic rest (partial placenta previa) I'm a bit 'ginger' about it and have been recently waddling around with (what looks like) a Tina Turner wig stuffed down my pants.

OH has been been too busy with 'other committments' to de-badger my 'bits' which is nice as the garden's been sorted out and he's redecorated bits of the house including the bathroom. BONUS! I don't have to nag anymore... All I have to do is ask him if he's busy... and within a flash! he's off with some DIY or the hoover

The downside is - I'm still looking like a German porn star and he managed to put his foot through the bath when he had just finished painting the sodding bathroom walls. (Twat).

I'm electing to find a preggy-women friendly local professional waxer as there's no way I'm trusting my clumsy OH with Veet, or anything sharper than a damp sponge 'down there'. I'm doubtful about the sponge too.

I'm 24 and a bit weeks (sorry - I know I'm early for 3rd tri) but I thought I'd have a 'trial run' in time to go a couple of times before having a full Hollywood in preparation for delivery.

I've always waxed my bikini area, so that's not really a worry for me apart from stressing about when to schedule in the final wax, don't want to do it too early or leave it too late!

Shaving my legs has become completely impossible, my leg hairs are so fine and very fair that I can't really justify getting them waxed. I can do the top bits from the knees up, but can't bend down to do the rest. I've had to get my husband to help which has resulted in lots of cuts on the ankles, lol!!

I thought you werent supposed to use veet down there it says on the pack. Otherwise I will so give it a try! It says only bikini line or something and I like to have no hair down there so is safe? X

I've been having a tough time with this too. Do you have a mirror in the bathroom low enough to be able to see your bikini area? I shaved this week by standing in front of the sink and looking in the mirror as I went.
