sorry, my DH would get a clout if he said that when i was having a rant as well! mainly because i really haven't been that hormonal tbh, and when i HAVE been, i know full well i'm being a bi*ch, i apologise, and take my dogs for a walk instead of inflicting it on my DH. If he said something like that i'd think what a condescending idiot lol also, factor in the fact that my DH is more than often to blame for any rant that may come his way, cos i'm not in the habit of using pregnancy as an excuse to just be "hormonal" and therefore he knows he's done something wrong if i'm complaining about it!
When I AM getting flustered and het up for no reason, a simple "go sit down, i'll bring you some sparkling water, you're always trying to do too much i bet your blood pressure is dropping again right now you've gone pretty pale" is all i need to know that DH loves me, if he started being poetic i'd get in my car and go for a very long drive away from him!
But each to their own of course!!
