I feel so stupid

So I just found out that my stepbrother and his girlfriend had their baby today, 5 days late. She was due 2 weeks ahead of me.
Now dont get me wrong I am really happy for them, they had a little girl.
But at the same time im really upset, when i found out I just burst out crying and i dont mean happy tears (though i am very happy for them)
But I just feel really jealous. I want my baby now and I dont think its ever going to come.
I feel stupid for getting upset but i cant help it. Why cant I have my baby now!!!
Im just a jealous person I guess. They live about 5 hours away from us though so I wont even be able to see her

awww keep ur chin up, your LO will be here soon good way to pass the last days is plan days out with friends and family and keep yourself busy. u neva know, ur waters might go one day whe your out and don't expect it

I don't think this is uncommon at all. But, I might just be a jealous person too? Either way you're not alone. I'm only 33 weeks, not even full term, and I got jealous that this girl I I know had her baby a few weeks ago, and I always get jealous at this other girl I went to school with's ticker because she's 4 days ahead of me. So I don't think you should feel stupid at all!

I understand how you feel, there's quite a few girls I know that have recently had babies & even though I'm so incredibly happy for them, I'm really jealous at the same time - blaming the hormones! Not long til you meet your LO now though xxx

lool i was meant to of goe shopping for the day-ended up going for like an hour and in that hour my mind was more focused on thinking omg what if she texts and i cant update lool luckily she never tho!
oh gosh il ring you if ur in labour at the same time as me and leave the phone on the side you can hear me scream my head off

It'll come round sooner than you think! Get lots of rest and enjoy the freedom you have now. I know it is a bit of a cliche, but you will be glad you did this once baby is here. Go and see lots of movies and do all those things you will not get a chance to do when baby is here xxxx
