I had my sweep

Well I had my sweep today and she could only just reach the tip of my cervix and that was with me tilting my bottom. She couldn't do it! So annoyed. I am booked in for one next week. The midwife said hopefully something will happen between now and then but not to get my hopes up.

Anyone had a unsuccessful sweep and still gone into labour before being induced? I was induced with my first and really didnt want to be this time!x

My sweep gave me the same result yesterday and it was my 2nd, its so frustrating but my midwife said it doesnt mean anything because you can have a thick cervix one minute and be in full blown labour the next. Mine couldnt be reached and i had my hand under my bum but babys head was very low she said which is good.
