Yep - that's my opinion too and my midwife scared me with a story of a 10 day old baby who died on the way to hospital with whooping cough. I generally have every jab going - everything that is available to me to help protect me and the baby I'm getting it! I'm not sure what the guidelines are for it in US - maybe its different

Definately not an American thing. We're recommended to get it between 28-32 weeks.

Thanks bethi. Similar to the guidelines here, 28-36 weeks with 28-32 being the ideal time. Just wasn't sure x
