I hate asq.

So the ped gave me an ages and stages to do on my daughter. I know how to do them and score them thanks to working at a daycare. Well she gave me a 4 month one. Her adjusted age is 2 months. She's very behind on the 4 month one. She's only behind with holding her head up while on her tummy with the 2 month one.

Preemies are exhausting!

I hate it too! Does nothing other than make me feel bad! My guy is behind in all areas on the last ASQ but I know he's developing and doing more every week.

From what I remember with ASQs, I thought you were supposed to go by their adjusted age at that young. To do a chronological age asq on a preemie is just asking for stress. How maddening!
