This is something i really hate!!!!

Erin was 6lb 12oz at birth and has gradually put weight on. she is 10months and weighs 21lb 3oz which is bang on if not even a bit light, and people go " oh shes a big girl" or "oh what age is she, 18 months"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????????? she's perfect weight for her age!!!!! just F**K off!!!

My lo is 11 weeks old and is 17lb, when I took him to get weighed last week the hv(not my own) said I should consider dropping a bottle when I told her I was exclusively bf she asked me was I sure because it's very incommon to have such weight gain!!!! How stupid!!
I wouldn't worry Hun,my lo is a big boy too we can't help that we have calorific boob juice x

people are just idiots hun dont worry my son has always been right at the top of all weight scales and everything literally the health visitor was worried at one point YET people were constantly saying oh god he's so tiny is he eating enough?! do you breast or bottle feed? *raise eyebrow* grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

HV said the same to me too lol. How dumb are they exclusively BF babies can take care of themselves with how much food they want, you can't overfeed them nor underfeed them.

Just ignore them honey, its the same a when you have a small baby like i did- as long as they are healthy who cares? Now people say how big she is you cant win trust me lol you know if its not about their size they will be making other silly comments lol idiots.. hes a cutey xxx

Was just about to say this. I had it the other way and got the "concerned" face when I told ppl he was a month older than they had just guessed which cued the explanation from me. Aaargh. He was 6lb born and is now just over 19lb at a little over 8mo which is exactly where he should be on the 50% line!!!!!!!!!!!! . You can never win! It's like bump size. You're always 'not as big as so and so who's as far gone as you' or you're 'really big, are you sure it's not twins!!!'

Omar is 24.3 lbs. He's already in 12 or 18 mnths outfits. He a big, long baby. Here it's not so common to see big babies, & whenever we go out we get comments about how big he is. DH & me r not big we'r average. I just ignore the comments, he's a healthy baby & this is all what matters xx

Dont let people get to you. If they werent moaning about him being too big they'd be moaning he was too small

i hate how people always have to comment my dd is small in comparason to noah actully his birth size in wieght length and head circumfrence is the exact of gabrielle at her 4 week checkup but i have always gotten shes small she looks alot younger ect like somthings wrong even tho me and oh are bout 5 ft tall also she never had much hair people would always commeent on it i had one lady who said it bout 10 times in a row and kept saying grow some hair to my lo it really pissed me of, now i get the opposite comment that my lo iss massive he's 10 lbs atm he was 8lb 2 oz when born not that massive. also they are pretty silly looking at ur lo like hes gotten to big bc they are supposed to grow i would be worried if he hadnt

I totallyknow what you mean, my LO was 10 pound 11 oz when he was born, and I hate all the comments on him

I also hate that just cos he is big for his age people expect him to be able to do stuff earlier than he should be, I remember one person saying to me when he was 3 months old oh can he now crawl yet, f off

Your LO looks perfect to me. Pay those ignorant people no mind. I used to get hurt by comments as well, but now I smile at those people and say, "I'm so glad my baby girl is healthy. We are so blessed." They usually shut up. I mean, what can they say to THAT? All babies are different and people need to remember that!

Your doing great and a few ignorant comments don't stop the fact that you have a healthy thriving boy. I always got the opposite with my tiny baby but I've learned over time to just let it go in one ear and out the other. Some people have no common sense and don't realize things they say can be hurtful.

People always think they have the right to comment hun. I just to get it all the time with Grace, but from the other angle. People would make comment like 'oh aren't you feeding the poor thing' or 'she needs fattening up doesn't she' and the worst was when one a 'friend' said i should put her on formula!! I wanted to shout at them and tell them she was 5 weeks early and only weighed 5lb of course she small!! She was putting weight just fine.

Ignore them hun, you have a beautiful healthy baby boy xx
