Now blue cheese has different issues because it does have a small risk of listeria from the veins even if it's pasteurised.
I was told by a cheese monger (yes that's the proper term!) that the processes in making even some unpasteurised cheeses means that the bad bacteria cant grow in certain types any way.
woop woop! Yay!! Thankyou thankyou! I don't like blue cheese (with veins) so that's fine by me, but I am so going to get brie, in fact it's going on my shopping list now!
