I have booked a private scan for next Tuesday :-)

I am 16+1 with twins and after having a mmc at 11 weeks in January I have been worrying non stop since my last scan 2 weeks ago. I had regular scans through the first trimester because of spotting which thankfully stopped, and I should be getting scanned every fortnight after my 21 week scan in 5 weeks but I just felt really uncomfortable waiting 7 weeks (from my last scan, it's 5 weeks from just now) with no scan as with it being twins, the doppler only picks up one heartbeat so for my own peace of mind I'd like a scan in between. It is a special offer being run by my local private scanning clinic for £37, so I thought I'd go for it.

I feel better waiting 4 weeks between scans than 7 so it is a relief. Only 4 days to go now

I totally get your wanting a scan in between!
I have 8 weeks until my next scan, hopefully at my doc routine appointment he'll do a quick scan. I do hear the hb with my doppler, but it's not the same.
Enjoy the scan! There is no price on reassurance when to comes to our LO!

How exciting! bet twins look awesome on scans. Don't blame you not wanting to go so long between seeing them.

I'm having my 4D one on Monday-super excited too
