Sorry, it's not a personal thing, but this makes me angry. My little guy went up until now with only one or two bouts of hiccups...and now suddenly he's getting them a couple times per day. And it's terrifying me. After every hiccup bout, I find myself poking and shaking my belly until I get a response from him to show me he's still alive, and I picture these terrible scenarios where the cord is around his neck during labor and pushing makes it worse.
I wish this were never posted here. I researched it, and yes, it can indicate a problem, but it's extrenely rare that it does.
And I know others now feel this same way.
We should be happy to feel our baby's hiccups....not sitting here in fear that there's something wrong.
