I'm with my OH but we live separately.. and it's honestly all me taking care of Elyse I'd say 80% of the time, 10% I'd say is her dad and the other 10% is family members we live with in our homes..

But honestly.. how do you single parents find time to shower, brush your teeth, go for a #2?!?! lol.. Elyse has been so sucky the past week I can't get away for any amount of time to take care of myself, not to mention do the laundry!

So, I spend a lot of time watching TV/going online.. I'm afraid to go too far from her, even if she is settled, because I feel like everytime I do I regret it soon after... I do baby wear also.. so I can do things like cook, go on the computer, etc while she's sleeping.. but folding laundry I find too hard with it and I still can't shower or poop with her on me lol

when josh was young as soon as he drifted off to sleep i was in the bath. and then i tryed my best to clean around him but my mum had him once a week so i can give the place a big scrubb maybe one your family like your mum or oh can have her over nite so you can get things done x

Hmm well I just do all the little things at any opportunity. Once she is asleep at night it's easier. I usually have my baths then. I take a quick 10 mins or so in the morning to get ready while she is in my room emptying the contents of my cupboard. It's bloody hard. But apparently NOT as hard as sitting behind a desk discussing finances according to my ex...

I take her in the bathroom and put her in her chair or exersaucer and take a bath instead of a shower. She's at a stage now where if I walk to the other side of the room, she cries. I just have to put her down and let her whine for a bit while I do things like brush my teeth/washroom/get dressed/etc. I'm online a lot too because its hard to leave her.

When shes old enough, a travel cot or playpen is a must!

I have a playpen, it saves my life.. I can let her nap on the main level of our house rather than running upstairs to attend to her all the time... I'm always down here :) I know she's safe and close by! :)

I wish my Exersaucer fit in our washroom LOL, it's so tiny, it gets crowded with her bouncer!!
