That looks very interesting! I never thought about cross stictching. I like to sew though and had lots of plans to make stuff for baby but we moved almost a month ago and since then things have just stalled. I need to get back on it as well! Keep on keeping on girl!
I am a knitter, keen about sewing and a general crafter! Have just finished making a moses basket liner and bedding to match my nusery colours and a knitted cot mobile! Keep on crafting on! It is such a great feeling to finish something that you made just for your little one.
I can just imagine growing up with a wall hanging - 2/3 cross stitch, 1/3 permanent marker
You can do it, mama! But also remember, the kiddo won't notice if it's finished a little late.
I'm way behind on my projects, too. I meant to knit a little leaf blanket, and only got as far as a matching hat (and even then, I haven't woven in the ends or washed it). I have a bunch of hand stitching to do on a blanket because I got overly ambitious, and my sewing machine just can't handle the combination of PUL and piping. And I thought about making an infinity nursing scarf, because it's just a length of jersey sewn into a tube. Easiest project ever, but I still haven't even bothered to buy the jersey. And then I still need cushions for the rocking chair... I'll consider it a victory if I manage the infinity scarf in the two weeks I have left!
I've made burp cloths a receiving blanket and two minky blankets. I had also like pp wanted to make a jersey knit infinity scarf for bf and I also planned on making some breast pads and bibs. (Which I have everything for just haven't gotten around to it.... I feel like I've been so ADD I start ten different things and keep stopping half way through!)
