I think I am having a miscarriage

I went to the doctor last night because I had a fever, aches and pains, cramping and very light spotting. I got my last period on Jan. 19. He tried doing an abdominal ultrasound and couldn't find anything and the the vaginal ultrasound didn't pick anything up either. He had my HCG tested and it came back at 650. He said that it could only be caused by the dates not being correct, a eptopic pregnancy, or a missed miscarriage. I think that even if my dates were off slightly I would still have a higher HCG reading than 650 considering I was supposed to be just over 6 weeks. Thoughts anyone?

An ultrasound wont pick much up when your numbers are below 1000 so there may be a chance yet. Keep us updated with how you are - I'll be praying for you and your LO. xx

is he going to check your blood again in 2 days? it could be too soon to see anything. was this your first ultrasound?

also, I (but this is me playing doc) would get in the bed any stay there for a couple days. spotting sometimes means you are doing too much. ie. too much running, working out... etc...

I had my HCG levels read three times and you and I are on the same cycle. My last period was Jan 18. On Feb 15th my levels were 25 then again on the 21st they were 341 (i think) and on the 23rd they were in the 900's. I found out yesterday that they think i may have an ectopic pregnany or I am miscarrying. I got my HCG levels done again yesterdaya nd I will find out later today what we will do from here. But they did not see a gestional sac yesterday but they did see fluid around my ovary to suggest there may be an ectopic. I hope your results are different! Please keep us updated! God bless you!
