I wish I had a time machine ! I want my LO here , I'm so tired and fed up I know 10 weeks isn't long but I'm so uncomfortable , just wish I could sleep and wake up and the day was here that I was having him .... :s

Ah you are preaching to the choir here!! I can't wait either!! I've 8 weeks to go as I'm having a section at 39weeks and it can't come soon enough!! Being pregnant really doesn't suit me!! I've placenta prevea, SPD, killer heartburn and mystery pains which nobody can explain to me all of which gets me down. I've had a chat with this little man and asked him to be as kind as he can to mummy's body until it's our c-section date and come without a fight :)

I'm having a c section too , just wish I was counting down days instead of weeks .... Sounds silly but I'm jelous of best mate only having 14 days left of her pregnancy . X

Gah! i've still got 12 weeks left and i'm ready NOW! Although like you say.. time machine please! Cos I know he needs to stay in a bit longer :) x x x

I'm so done with being pregnant! :haha:
I'm ready to hold my little girl. All my friends are popping out their babies! Any time she wants to come, she's welcome to!

I hope you don't mind me asking and don't think I'm rude! Could I ask if you're having a c section because of SPD? I have this and it seems to be getting worse and I'm worried about labouring with it. Xx

Me too! Want my baby boy here now so I can cuddle him!! Getting soo impatient and I still have what feels like forever to wait :(

If you get your time machine share it with meee :haha:

If you had a time machine you could make yourself very rich hiring it out to pregnant women! Not that you'd need to I suppose, since you could use it to win the lottery and live in luxury anyway.
At the moment I would be more than thrilled if someone could just tell me for certain what day I will go into labour. I'm willing to wait, but the suspense is killing me!

Hey there, Of course I dont mind!! I'm not having the c-section because of SPD specifically but it was a reason for me not to attempt a VBAC. I had a section with DD as she was breech, at that point my consultant was prepared to consider it on the basis of SPD as well if I had gone over.

This time I chose to have a c-section as I felt that the risks of VBAC were higher than those of another c-section. I also felt that I got so sore and depressed last time I was pregnant that the sooner baby was born the better, going over would probably send me over the edge and having a date to work towards is a real help to me mentally.

Have you had a look at the pelvic partnership website? https://www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk/ There is loads of advise about labouring with SPD and you need to ensure that your MWs are aware of your limitations as they could accidentally injure you by pulling your legs too far.

I totally agree! I want him here now! I don't cope well being pregnant...Aches, pains, sleeplessness (already), nausea, constipation pains, heartburn, SPD! I just want it all over an have him here.

People keep telling me that the past 27 weeks have flown but I don't think the next 13 will :(

and I am Sick of people saying "well you know, it could be nearer 15 weeks if you go over" & "at least you're getting used to the sleepless nights now"

Yes! It could be nearer 15 weeks, this is not what I want to hear!
And I am having sleepless nights at the minute BUT I NEED MY SLEEP!!!

sorry for the rant.

:flow:

Thanks so much for that. I practically live on that website! Lol. Gonna bring it up with my midwife tonight as I am getting quite concerned about the birth purely because of the SPD. I really wanted an active labour but I can hardly walk! I know what you mean about the thought of going overdue. :-( xx

for me, the last two weeks have been hell -- I have had carpal tunnel in my hands since month 5, but NOW! Growl - swollen ankles/knees, a BP scare, slight headaches, hard to take a bath/get out of bath, can't easily wipe bum (sorry, but any advice? -- I keep pulling my lower back, bending over to wipe), cannot sleep, am anxious, nervous and I have six weeks minus 1 day (scheduled c-section). I get physio for my hands and today, had to ask him to work on my legs instead. I WANT BABY NOW!

thanks......
