Just checking if you have ever heard of a rule that says the child you adopt has to be placed as the youngest child in the house at time of adoption???

Hello Amanda, I've just joined this site and only to reply to you! I was also adopted in 1945 but found my birth mother in 3 'phone calls! I'd like to chat to you if you want about your difficulties in finding your Mum, I do an awful lot of family history research for my families. (I'm not a professional looking to charge you so don't worry!).
