ideas re working from home please

Does anyone have any ideas regarding me earning some money from home at all? i am currently on stat sick pay which works out as 8pounds a day!!!! i have 4 other young kids, and i cant work outside the home as my stitch is in and the docs wont let me work in my old workplace, a home for mentally disabled young adults. so does anyone know of a reliable trustworthy way or working from home, where you dont have to put any money down first and isnt a scam. i am computer literate and can work with finances if needed i have several years secretarial experience before moving into care.... if anyone else earns money from home or knows someone recruiting for at home workers pls let me know,i have weeks before my maternity pay starts and i know i can be useful to someone from home lol........ps i would sell my body lol,but not that anyone would buy it at the minute

Not sure if it would be to much but have you looked into setting up a home ironing service? I had a friend set one up a while back and is making a decent amount from it .
I would think about it myself if i drove , from what i can see it can be a good little money earner .
