What is the likelihood that Elyse will share the allergy?

My big no-no food is almonds, I can have a reaction from even touching almonds (hives), but if I eat them the reaction is more severe- not anaphylaxis (yet anyway), but unpleasant. My allergy seems to be ONLY almonds as far as nuts go, but more recently, I've noticed itching around the mouth, inside my mouth, and this really hot, sort of tingling sensation after eating certain fruits..

I know you wait to introduce nuts to children but what should I do around the fruits? Especially if I'm not even sure it's an allergy or not??

Any foods that cause reactions in any member ofa child's immediate family should be withheld until after 12 months. I would also talk to your GP about the fruits, he/she can clarify if its an allergy or not
