If you weren't an addict before, you will be now! Best tweaking&testing thread ever!

Is it bad to have sorry if tmi but diarrhea...this just happened a few mins ago not the whole day

Sara - Thats a great idea I never thought of acupuncture for periods. I've done it for headaches and it worked I wonder if it would shorten the stupid cycles I have to anything less then 34 days!! lol

Liz - I am no expert in charting, I have no help to offer but I didnt want to ignore your question :)

Jackie - Thats probably a good question, might I recommend asking it in the first trimester forum where you can seek advice from other pregnant ladies? This is afterall a getting pregnant category you're asking in, not everyone here has been pregnant to offer advice.

Maybe not meagan but some have been once. Thats why i figured to ask.

I don't want to keep up with them necessarily. My friend treated and that's what she wanted to try so I said ok! Haha!

I typically cut and color my own hair, professional dye is only $12 for 2 tubes. I'm keeping my hair long though! I worked too hard to get it this length!

Liz, I think your body is trying to O but isn't successful.

sorry I can't help Liz. I'm not a charter. I'm an OPK girl :)

My hair feels so much better. Two inches off and some bangs cut. I hadn't had it cut in six months!

Woah total dyslexic moment there! I thought I saw that you had cut off six inches then re-read it and saw it was only 2! Still a good change!
I tried to get my hubby to look at hair ideas with me tonight and here he is.. snoring away next to me :haha: can't blame him too much, he just got off of a 36 hour shift and goes back tomorrow :( Stupid snow.

Before he fell asleep, he talked me into testing with a FRER in the am to get a firm answer. I'm indifferent either way, but hope AF is late even if it is a bfn so I don't have to be on my period on my birthday!! Probably just wishing thinking :)

when is your birthday Leah?
I might have gone even shorter but hubby is really enjoying that my hair is long again after chemo. It is still to my collar bone. Can't wait to see your FRER

Sunday the 9th! Big 2-2 :haha: feels more like 32!

How long has it been since you beat cancer?? You are amazing!! My mom had breast, lymph, bone, and lung cancer for 4 years and finally fought it off for now. My sister's completely overtook her body. It was everywhere. Every time they thought they got it, it showed up 2 other places. It was hard to watch it drag out so long.

Leah---- can't wait to see your FRER :).

I agree Liz, it looks like you're trying to ovulate but are not quite there. Are you temping orally?

Sara- you are amazing! I can't imagine what you went through. Thank you for the advice on regulating my cycle :).

Thanks ladies, yea I know I haven't Oed yet as my boobs aren't sore like they always are after O. My CM is back to creamy but not sure what it's like today yet though. Maybe I'll O in the next day or two? All OPKs have been negative, and I only have one left!

thanks girls! I think most of us are a lot stronger than we realize and can pull through some really tough stuff. I found my cancer at the beginning of my third trimester when I was pregnant with Emily and I finished treatment when she was about six months old, that was three years ago. Since then there haven't been any signs of cancer. My tumor was pretty big but all my lymph nodes were clear. Thank God for my husband who came to all my appointments, took great care of me, and took great care of Emily when I couldn't. Jeff even brought Emily to my hospital room overnight and we had hospital sleepovers :)

I'm so sorry about your sister Leah. I have watched loved ones pass from cancer and it's just terrible. Watching a loved one suffer is horrible. I didn't realize your mom had cancer too. I'm glad to hear that she is ok right now. My mom is 10 years out from cancer and my aunt is in treatment right now. I hope all the time that my sisters and my daughter won't have to deal with it.

The FRER! Ok so I'm pretty irritated with it this morning. I peed on it like usual and let it sit for a couple minutes and it didn't run through. I had to add water for it to run, so it's pretty diluted. UGH! I only wanted to use 1 FRER if AF was going to show!

Phew! Did you have to decide whether to start treatment while pregnant? That's a rough road! So glad you made through it!
My mom handled it pretty well because in the end, she didn't look like herself. For me, that was harder. My other sister (I'm one of 5) had lupus when she was younger and pulled through. I'm worried about my kids as well. Tony's paranoid that I'll get it so he got extra health insurance that covers it if I do. Better over prepared than not!

My stark white FRER.. not testing again until I miss AF.

Aww Leah, such a tough family to go through all that :hugs:

My husband and I have our own health concerns for us and our family we now have to worry about. My dad has his diagnosis of Alzheimers, which his dad may have also had but were not 100% sure since hes been dead for all my life. My dads mom had cancer too. Tommys great grandma had dementia, his grandfather passed of lung cancer and his dad had lymphoma (but beat it). We're worried about the alzheimers showing up for us.. its horrible watching my dad with it scares me half to death to think of it happening to me or my hubby.

Man we're all full of terrifying family diseases!! Haha. My dad has dementia too. He forget a lot and doesn't know how to open certain things and sleeps a lot.

I see a pink line on that FRER Leah!

Sorry for your bfn aimee.

My OPK is almost positive today! Time to get on it.

My tumor was so big (walnut size) that I didn't really have a choice about treatment. I did chemo all through 3 rd trimester and after emily was born I finished chemo, surgery, radiation. Given family history I always figured I would get cancer but didn't expect it at 33!
