Wow, good luck! I will be keeping everything crossed for you. I'd say go with your gut instinct - if you feel like you want to test now then test now and to hell with what the time of day is - just keep in mind that you're testing for sanity more than anything else! When i got my BFP i tested at around 6.30pm and had only had a wee about 45 mins before i tested, but just caved in and couldn't wait until morning (in fact i stomped off to the toilet with a test just to prove to "my head" that i wasn't pg and it was just the witch playing games with me - got a right shock!!). Like you, i had irregular cyles. I felt 'late' but i knew that i'd had much longer cycles in the past.

Clearblue are known to be little buggers on early tests hun. Try a First response tomorrow, they are great. x

If it's not to meant to be though, just remember you got your IUI appt coming up and keep focussed on that?

I know i don't technically belong in this section anymore but i still feel more at home here than anywhere else and i remember only too well how it all feels. I soooo hope its just the time of day and you won't need the IUI... Keep your chin up

I was never a big tester really - it was very rare that i tested when i was TTC but some months i'd just have to do it. Don't beat yourself up about it. I remember once testing and i actually got AF as i was peeing on the stick!! Felt so stupid then.... BUT...sometimes it can be better to test and then you know - almost in a "you've got to be cruel to be kind to yourself" way if that makes sense?
Try and keep smiling though - i'd look at it this way: for once in this journey you're in a win:win situation - either the test was wrong as it was wrong time of day OR witch is on her way and it will be perfect timing for IUI.
Don't let this BFN drag you down hun xx

Hi Hailey,

Any chance you are on progesterone suppositories after the IUI? That delayed AF for me by 12 days! Fingers crossed for you BFP!!!
