I'm a waitress. Not the most pratical job, being on my feet all day though "/
I was going to go part time at work + go back to college but I found out I was pregnant so that went out the window!
My partner is a secuirty officer at the hospital near us, the same place we're going for or first scan weirdly!

Me too I work in a hair salon just as a helper as I have just started an appreticeship, but I hate my job, twice a week have to be on my feet for 11 hour shifts.
There is no where to sit down so I am going to have to do some re-thinking asap. I'm meant to be going to college but missed my first 2 days through sickness, now I know why . Wow that is going to be weird, at least he will know exactly where you have to go when you get there! Have you told any of your family or friends yet? x

Sorry to crash your convo girls!!
But if you tell your manager, they will have to do a risk assessment with you hun and they will HAVE to find somewhere for you to sit down.
They cant have you stood up for 11 hours a day.
Jeez I sat on my arse for 8 hours a day on a telephone and left at 28 weeks due to not being able to cope!!

My mum + her mum know + my partner parents.
My 2 younger sisters know too.
Not told friends yet or any other family. Can't keep my gob shut haha!!
Have you told them your pregnant?
I get longer breaks now + I can ask for a break if I start to feel dizzy or sick.

Really, thanks. I would much prefer to be doing a telephone/reception job! But I don't want to let my boss know yet just incase, also we don't particulary see eye-2-eye so I'm pretty sure she would be someone to judge me. But I don't want to stay much longer anyway, I was going to quit last week but now that I have found out I feel I can't now, the money will be needed. I think after everyone has found out I will ask her about that, thanks for letting me know. x x

Really wow lol. I know how it is when you are excited, I want to tell everyone but I am going to wait until I am like 12 weeks before telling anyone just incase, but obviously my partner knows . Oh that sounds good, I would love to ask if i could cut my hours down but I'm already going to ask if i can just carry on working and not do the appreticeship because I wont be able to lol! Don't want to push it cause my boss is a bit of a b**** xxx

How far along are you? My pregnancy brain just can't work it out

Don't worry about time going slow, it flies by! I find that every individual day seems slow in itself but suddenly a week goes by without you even properly realising! I'm due December 7th, and it seems amazing that there are people due more than 5 months after me now! have a good rest of pregnancy!

Haha! Just keep your head down + when your further along you could cut your hours down then..
Even though we'd thought + tried for a baby for 5 months. We'd stopped trying in august cos i wanted a break from all the disappointment. Then I got pregnant in August! It's really strange hehe. I cried to my mum because it was the shock of actually being pregnant + my emotions too!xx

It's early days yet..
It's going slow for me, feeling nauseous everyday + tired, the days seem to drag!

I found keeping plain digestives by my bed to eat in the morning helped my morning sickness slightly! But on the bright side, it eases off and gets better for most people mine hasn't though, still got it

Aww just when you'd given up! Shows you should always keep trying doesn't it. And yeah that sounds like a good idea. I bet you were, it's a shock to anyone to find out you are and for a while your head is all over the place. I bet you are ecstatic now though! xx

Mints help me a little, they stop the sickness for a bit. But it always come back

Not a clue babe! Haven't even seen my doctor yet because she has been so 'busy'. I know I can't wait for mine either. You must be so excited now you know your dates, mine seem like they could be an age away lol! xxx

Well I haven't even been seen by a doctor!
I rang them up told them I'd done a test + it was positive + then they passed my details onto the midwife + she rang me to give me the dates!
I just found it strange that they didn't even check to see whether I was pregnant "/ xx

Thats odd.. Kind of seems a bit uncaring of them aswell to me. I guess I would be a little offended but still, you've got your midwife appointment! YAY! If your worried then take another digital test, they are a lot clearer to figure out and there is no worrying about the faintness of the line ect lol! xxx

I've done about 4 tests now, the first was very faint, so I did another one + the line was definately there! So just incase, I did another one the next day + another that night, they all showed I was pregnant!
Just really worried now cos it's still early days! xx

haha really? I've done 3 so far but still have one left but want to save it for next week because it has the conception indicator and to make sure it says an extra week on it lol. I know I'm terrified that after all this the unthinkable will happen. But I'm sure everyone thinks that at early days xxx
