So I am exactly 4 weeks pregnant after 15 months of trying after my last D&C and 2 miscarriages.
We had just started fertility investigations in January and had a follow up appointment today to discuss all results. We have found out that my tubes, hormones and uterus are all good but my husband has anti sperm antibodies. Which basically means that due to a previous injury or infection his body is producing antibodies to attack his sperm. In one of his samples there were 100% that were no good!
the other it was 95% So not great.
So this pregnancy is a little miracle but now I'm even more scared of miscarriage as I know if this one fails, it's going to be extremely hard to get pregnant and we could be looking at IVF. Have also read up that there is a high incidence of miscarriage when there is anti sperm antibodies present.
I know I need to be positive, it's just very hard sometimes! Hope everyone else is well!
