Just need to get my head around I thing...

Will they base it on my income last year... or do they take it into account if your income is going to be massively reduced (by being on SMP for 9 months?) for the year and base it on that?

On entitledto.com it thinks it will, but i cant see anything on the tax credits website

Anyone know??

When I applied for it they did take into account my reduced salary being on SMP

i sent the form off which at the time showed i was working full time. i rang them to say not that now as on maternity leave and they said it wouldn't make a difference. but who knows they seem to change their rules
