in the planning for the wedding so if any of you have suggestions or idea's that would be great, plus any ideas for saving money would also be greatly appreciated as we are on quite a tight budget!
notice of marriage - still need to do that
ceremony - registry office
reception - local bar/club that has a private function room (need to find out about food/drinks etc)
flowers - no idea yet but we are thinking silk so we can get the colours we want but not sure if we want little bouquets for the bridesmaids or not as there will be 8 of them!
cake - friends mum is a wedding cake maker and is doing ours for free as a gift
my dress - my mum is making that for me as i found the perfect pattern
bridesmaid/flowergirl dresses - I'm making them ... EEEEEEK!
favours - totally stuck on this one
car/limo - not sure we even want one as it'll only be from the registry office to the reception which is about 3 miles away!
groom - wearing a kilt which he has already sorted out (i think!)
best man - is OH brother who is in the army and he wants to wear his number 2 dress (part of the uniform) which is fine by us
ushers/pageboy - need to hire their kilts
rings - think we found the ones that we want
photographer - some friends of my dad's are wedding photographers and are going to do the photography for free for us as a gift
