Hello everyone, this is my first post in this section, i hope thats okay:)

I bought a test today whilst I was on my break at work because af is a week late.. I did it when I got home and me and oh couldn't beleive our eyes... BFP!!!!

I'm so nervous and scared because of what happened last time (see sig), i just had to share with people who understand. We weren't really trying, just ntnp going with the flow kind of thing, we did not expect this although obviously there's always a chance of conceiving when you're not using protection we just didn't think we'd be lucky enough iykwim.

We're both really happy, I had a feeling I was after I realised af was late, and then I noticed my boobs were sore although I get that with af so didn't read too much into it, I've also been feeling queezy and tired but again I tried to ignore that and put it down to working a lot. Got to register with a new surgery now since I'm not part of one right now. I actually have a reason to now!

I still can't quite believe it, going to take the second test tomorrow morning just to clarify.

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I just had to express myself.

Hello and huge congrats on your BFP! :flower:

Please don't apologise, I totally understand - being PAL is very scary and it's totally different from the first time around. Having this forum with ladies all in the same situation is a godsend, it's great knowing there are others going through the same! Feel free to vent or chat any time you need to! :D

Congratulations Twister! I hope you're starting to believe it now and gradually getting your head around your good news. :hugs:

Thanks girls! I have a feeling this is going to be the one but at the same time I'm still worried, such a strange feeling. We definitely need to save money now, we still live with my parents, there definitely won't be enough space for a little one. Bit nervous about telling them but we both work and will be able to support ourselves, and my mum fell pregnant with me at around the same age as me (I'm 20, will be 21 in march) so I'm sure she'll be fine.

Congrats! Try not to be nervous. Retest and call your dr for blood work. Take prenatals and take it easy. Good luck!
