Well I am due back to work in march after 9 months mat leave.

I'm only going back 8 hours a week until my daughter is 1. I was working 40 hours before.
I have been on direct gov and been trying to find out what benefits I will be entitled to. I am currently get child benefit, child and working tax. But I have found out I will loose out on my working tax if not working 16 hrs or more. So does anyone know if I will still get child tax and will I be eligible for income support and anyone know how much as I am a lone parent but working part time?

If someone can help and make sense with it all as its all confusing.

Thanks

Hey:hi:

If you are working under 16 hours, you will still recieve your income support and child tax credits, i dont work but am looking for part time work and i spoke to the jobcentre and they said my benefits wont be affected if its under 16 hours :D
