induction + lazy baby

a little pointless -but me and my midwife were working out the date they'd give me for induction and i ended up in hysterics when i realised it'd be friday 13th August..
i think i worried her so much, she promised me 100% that i wouldn't be induced on that day and i wouldn't be induced on the 12th.. the most likely date would be the 10th August the latest.. so when i think about it - i'll deffinatly 100% have my baby by the 10th August!! ahh.. i'm so excited..

i also found out i have the laziest baby in the world, who decides not to kick very much any more, so i mentioned to the midwife i get hardly any kicks.. and they had me attached to the CTG machiene for like 2 1/2 hours and her heartbeat stayed the same, she didn't move around or anything, then they were starting to worry a little, and as she mentioned getting the consultant in, we had a nice change in heartbeat and a massive kick.. what a naughty little bubba!! she left me attached for like another hour just to monitor, and i had to drink LOADS of FREEZING water.. then they let me go.. hehe..

sorry for the pointless thread - just felt like sharing.. i don't like to bug anyone else with baby stuff, and my mum was there, so couldn't tell her haha!

ooooh lucky you! i want time to fly by now so i can have my baby everything seems such a long time away.... i wouldn't want to be induced on friday 13th either, im not superstitious or anything but still that just isnt a good day lets hope baby comes naturally for you .... i had the same thing with harley didnt move for two whole days! soo i got put on that machine thing and he started kicking like hell... to the point in the end they turned the sound off because it was soo nosey

i was told that i would be induced at 41+5, which would be saturday the 14th of august.. but would they do inductions then? lol. maybe ill get induced on the friday! oh nooo!

Haha this happens to me all the time, the only one who's even remotely interested in my baby babbling is my mum but she's there for it all so it's pointless telling her

Glad you get bubs sooooon, I CANNOT wait to see her!! xxx

ahh thank you abbstar - ahh the midwife acted as though i was lying then ended up panicking more than me!! haha.. then eventually we got a nice wack!! haha..

sam - mmm, not sure, i have my midwife appointments on a sunday, and they said they'd do my sweep on a sunday too? so i don't see why they wouldn't if that's the date they gave you - otherwise just make a massive fuss about it, i was like i actually wouldn't come in!! haha.. seriously i'm not like overly superstitious, but i really wouldn't want to tempt fate!!

jade - ahh i know, my poor mother, she puts up with it all, "argh i ache" "when's she coming!!" and she always says, now you know how i felt
hehe me either, i'm going crazy can't stop looking at my 4D pictures, she can only be more beautiful in the fleshh.. plus i wanna hold and cuddle herr!!


Now 10 days till due datee!!!!! (am i allowed to give myself dust? or is that selfish)

I'm glad baby was just being lazy & nothing was wrong!
& that's great news about actually having a set date! I'm quite superstious myself so wouldn't of liked going in on fridat the 13th!

hehe, ahh i hope i go soon, she's getting HUGE, HUGE, HUGE.
yeah, she's just the laziest little madam in the world. i don't have a definate date, but in a way it's a final date, cause i made a huge fuss about friday 13th - don't want anything unluckyy!! especially with something so big.

ahh mine didn't either - i just said to her, just a quick question but my date for induction would be friday 13th, can you not induce me that day.. i went on and on.. haha, i've realised they only pay attention when you go on and on and on and on!! and nag and nag i feel like i'm an annoying 2 year old again
hopefully we don't have any more - although mine are weekly's at the moment, so i got another on sunday - cummon bubba, we don't wanna have to put up with all that again!! Hope the same for you!
