Can I give my LO both of them? Neither say that they can't be combined with other things but I want to check.

My little Girl has such bad farts she keeps waking herself up with a scream! :-(

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't combine them myself. Is the farting problem to do with the amount, noise or pain? Is she pooing ok?

If you think it's pain then you could try offering a little cool boiled water, or talk to HV about whether an easy digest formula might help. Most babies fart more than you realise, so don't worry if it just seems like she's doing a lot.

I think I am going to swap from infacol onto gripe water rather than combine them. I think the infacol helps to get the air bubbles out of her but I am hoping the gripe water might stop the bubbles forming in the first place.

She is beginning to get the air out of her but generally by farting in her sleep - which wakes her up and she cries and wriggles lots! Poor little mite screams herself awake when she does a big fart, must be most scary when you are 12 weeks old!:wacko:

I used both for a while and it didn't do him any harm, but after a week or so I just stuck with gripe water x

I asked my GP about giving my son both Infacol AND Gripe Water. She recommended that I only give him Infacol.

im thinking of switching to gw from infacol. tried detinox but it did feck all for poppy!!

I've been putting the gripe water in her bottle for the last 30 odd hours - and she is a much happier baby!!! Only woke once in the night and for a feed not for a fart!

(trying to feed gripe water via a syringe was the worst ever! much easier hidden in the bottle!)
