Infected fingernail?? Help!

This morning I noticed that London's fingernail seems infected!! It is red and a little swollen, with what may be some pus like it is ingrown - I am super careful when I cut her nails and it doesn't look like i nicked her. Should I call her pediatrician??

I would call just to be safe.

I was advised not to cut nails but file them with the soft side of an emery board, get it checked though, incase it is infected

Thanks I will call them when they open, which isn't for another 15 minutes.

I thought I would post what the doctor said to help others in case this happens to them too. I took London to the doctor and she looked at it and put her on antibiotics and we need to soak her finger 3 times a day in warm water. She goes back on Friday to double check it but it looks better already!!
