Insemination help!

Has anyone been successful with an at home insemination? I am just starting out in all of this and I am looking for any help. I am using donor sperm from a family member of my husbands as he is unable to have children. We are inseminating about 2 times a week, and around/on ovulation days. First attempt failed. Looking for any advice to boost my chances. I was told I could start prenatal vitamins now.

I am new to this website and I don't know if I can message you directly. I am very thankful for the information that you provided. I am using a donor that we know (spouse's brother) and I inseminated day before ovulation and day of. It didn't take the first time, but I am hopeful it will work soon. Any more advice or information you can give?
