Our son is 11 weeks old and isn't feeding on a regular amount of milk, he had 4 fl oz at 10 last night and had 4 oz at 6am this morning and has just had 2 oz at 10am, this isn't unusual, any advice?

As long as he is having plenty of wet and dirty nappies, and is gaining weight as he should be then this may just be the amount he needs. We dont eat the same amount at every meal so why should our babies be any different? xxx

It's normal. My lo will drink 4 ounces 2 feedings in a row then only take maybe 2 the next, 3 the one after that etc.

That sounds pretty normal, hun. Anabelle did this in the first few months. It's only been since the 12 week growth spurt that she has started taking the same amount at each feed. Sometimes, she'll leave 1oz but as one of the other girls have said, as long as you're getting plenty of wet and dirty nappies, it's nothing to worry about.

P.S - my LO started doing this, and HV suggested we go up a teat size.. Ever since then she has been much better at taking a consistent amount!
