Internet Help Please

im hoping someone can help me.
i get my internet broardband through sky. have been with them since novemver 2008 and not had any problem with the internet until now.
i keep loosing my connection on the laptop whih is connected to the network wireless, the descktop is wired to the modem/router.

at the moment i cant get any internet through the desktop but can through the laptop but that connection comes and goes.

can anyone point me in the right direction of getting it fixed without needing to phone sky?

ps most problems started when i got the new card for the tv
