Had my dd 3 months ago and am now PG.. Irish twins they call it. :hugs:

Hoping its a sticky as DH and I have decided this is last one for us..

I'm worried I'd have a bettr chance of MC though as cervix isn't as "tight"? Maybe that's a silly thought though. :)

2 under 1!!! Oiii

I think your cervix will be just fine given the millions of women who've had successful "Irish Twins" before ;)

Congratulations and H&H Pregnancy to you!

Thanks. I didnt know there was a term for it until I googled 2 under 1 and voila!! Now Irish triplets (twin pregnancy now) would be super super fun.. :)

CONGRATS on the twins! Best of luck to you and Happy and Healthy Pregnancy! :hugs:

Have to pop my 2 cents in here. I have Irish friends who had one baby, when she was 4 months fell pregnant with twins, twins born just before she turned 1 and 4 months later she was pregnant again with just one. At one stage they had 4 under the age of 3... Congrats on your baby...

wow.. that's a bunch. :) i'm still pretty well in shock about it all..

google and i are best friends right now

I just got pregnant with my second in may.. 3 months after I had my son. We are in the same boat my friend! Did you have a c section as well?

^^^ Mine was literally 3 months apart to the day btw :o He was born feb 10th, I conceived May 10th @.@

vaginal delivery...dd was actually an April due date but delivered a little early at 37+6

So I have March 27 and now March 15 - but the March 15 could go a little early as well... The thing is that dates are set i stone because DH and I only DTD ONCE.. Once in May and once in June. So exact date is known..

were you trying for another or NTNP?

No we actually used protection :o That week we conceived, we actually only DTD once so we could pinpoint the date. I have a pink pad app so I can mark what days we did it on and when my period comes, it then calculates when I'm ovulating based on that. Love that thing!

Lucky you getting to go vaginal- I planned to but had to have an emergency c section. Now I'm a bit scared of my cervix and how it will react :(

My coochie is still partly numb from dd so not sure if i'm lucky.. haha.. Ds has same birthday as you Feb baby..

DD should keep me busy which is a god send because I feel like I was getting back to my non pg self and then whamo!!! Don't get me wrong we are super excited but I was just enjoying dd starting to sleep through the night and my workout/weight loss routine.. and now - what's the point? I still have that brown line down my stomach...hahahahaha

oiii..... are you nervous at all or totally taking it in stride?

Same!! Brown line is still on my belly :p yea I was in labour for almost 3 days so I didn't have the coochie pain, but my insides felt like I went through the whole dang thing haha!

I wanna try for vbac but that's highly doubtful to say the least >.< I am SO nervous about the entire thing. Especially the birth and the money aspect @_@ thank goodness my husband is excited and overly supportive. Y'all nervous about it too??

for sure! he is nervous about making enough money and i'm nervous about what our house is gonna look like while I run around like a mad woman..

but 1 baby isnt gonna change things so drastically.. 3 yes 1 not so much.. :)

Haha indeed! We have to move now cuz our house won't be nearly big enough for all we have going on. That means a more expensive place >_< my son has some medical issues so we are already short on cash @_@ hoping my husband gets that promotion soon.

I always thought Irish twins were twins who born on different dates :haha: Like twin 1 is born 11.30pm on monday and twin 2 is born 12.30am on tuesday or something :dohh:

Congrats! Mine are 12 months and a few days apart, and it's a wonderful age gap, imo. It's difficult at times, but it's great for so many reasons. One reason is that since they're so close in age, it makes it easy to choose vacation spots b/c they have the same/similar interests:) I love to watch my lo's playing together! It's awesome. Congrats again!

Aww congratulations!! I actually tried for Irish twins, twice, but have never managed it. It will be amazing I bet, think how close your kids will be!!

Hi! I had my second Daughter on 8th october last year and got pregnant again when she had just turned 4 months, i was induced early her original due date was 24th october 2013. I am due again 27th October this year with a boy, currently 25 weeks! So far everything has been going well, no problems that i know of and cervix is just fine but if i have growth problems again later in the pregnancy in likely to be offered induction the same week my youngest turns 1 so there will be just over 12months between them.

good luck with everything! X
