Is 3 days before O too early?

Hello! DH & I are currently NTNP for #3 so I’m not charting/temping. We BD on Thursday, CD11 and then I had EWCM Friday-Sunday. Also had some cramping last night and very little EWCM today. Is it a safe assumption that I O’d Sunday then, CD 14? If so, would BDing on CD11 be too early? I’ve heard sperm can live up to 5 days but wasn’t sure if that’s on the high end or not?

Woukd I have still been considered fertile if the EWCM started the next day?

The best times to have sex before ovulation are 1-3 days. That gives the sperm plenty of time to get in position and await the egg. Anywhere from 7 days before to 1 day after is possible but unlikely. It depends on how healthy your cervical mucus is and how long your egg stays viable.

Thanks! I’ve read up to a week too but I saw on another site most are only viable around 48 hours or so.

Trying not to be too hopeful but have my fingers crossed
