Is a light positive a positive?

Hi

Okay so i usually have my period the 27th
I'm about 12 days late. My last one was mar 27
I took a test last Saturday and it was negative
Went to the doctors yesterday she did a tine test and got a faint positive
I'm currently waiting for blood results

Could I be pregnant? Is a light positive a positive?
Fingers crossed I would be happy if I am
The wait is driving me crazy

I would think a faint positive would be a positive. Obviously, the blood test will help you know for sure, but from i have read a false negative is more likely than a false positive, i dont know if that really helps but i would assume that you are Have you had any other symptoms?

I would say it is more than likely positive the doctors tests aren't as sensitive as some of the ones you can do at home I got 3 dark positives and a positive digital and my doctors one was really faint. If you want to put your mind at ease I would buy an frer but if not good luck with the blood results hopefully it's good news

I would say yes! With my first the line was very faint at first and my friend convinced me it wasn't a positive, only to redo a text weeks later and get a very obvious positive!
