is anyone a few days away for suspected ovulation?

I'm sitting here impatiently waiting for a positive opk. They're close, but no cigar yet. My ovacue has me as "highest fertility day" for 2 days from now, so I suspect I'll get that glorious pos opk any day. I hate this part of my cycle!!! Anyone else? Let's keep each other company!

I am on CD 9. I don't know when I will ovulate. I O'd last month for the first time but I didn't use OPk's and my temps were a bit rocky and FF didn't figure it out. Day 21 progesterone test said I O'd so I think I will O somewhere between Day 13 and Day 17.

The online calculation tools says I am to ovulate around the 7th-8th, however, I think I am ovulating today. I have cramps on the right side and also all over similar to period cramps, hunger pains, and my emotions are absolutely crazily out of control in a way I rarely experience.
This is great because I'm 35+ , would be my first pregnancy, and we have bd'd every day for the last week so maybe this is it!! I've been crying all day, but mixed with the tears are a lot of hope. I am usually NOT this emo so I think it has to be ovulation.
What are your O symptoms if any? When in the cycle do you feel them? At the day of O or before?

I have pcos, so my cycles are mildly irregular. I've had some twinges, open high soft cervix, ewcm, and bloat. All my usual signs.i usually start a few days before ovulation. Have you taken any opks? Are you charting? How long have you been tracking/trying?

Yeah I'm supposed to ovulate on the 8th. But I think I may be today. No cramps but ewcm some today. But I took a OPK this morning and it wasn't saying I ovulated. So I'm not sure what's going on. Hopefully O'd today since me and the hub BD last night. Fingers crossed. BABY DUST TO YOU ALL !!

You'll usually ovulate 24-48 hours after your first positive, so it's best to keep testing so catch your surge!

Yeah that's what I've been hearing. So yeah I'm still going to test. Some people say you can miss your surge though?

Some will get their surge in the morning and if you test in the morning you will get it. Some surge in the afternoon but if you test in the morning only you can miss it. It's also not unheard of to surge in the middle of the night and it doesn't matter when you test you can miss it (this seems rare though but I have read it has happened).
I started testing at 3pm daily. Holding my pee for 3-4 hours (which is so hard for me). so I will continue to test every day at that time through this cycle. Not sure if I will get my smiley face but we plan to bd every day until day 21 just in case.

I've been taking OPK's but the cheapie brand where you kind of have to guess.
I have ovarian cysts and seem to have a naturally high LH level (5-7/10) it spiked yesterday at 9/10 and dropped today to 5/10. I wouldn't say it's a reliable source of info though. I find it very difficult to not drink any fluids for a couple of hours before taking the tests.

But definitely ovulating today based on all the symptoms which are crazy strong! I wish it had been this clear previous months (#3 actively trying) The charting is something that has slowly progressed during these months. I don't temp though.

Yeah I can hold mine for like 3 hours but 4 is hard. And with my job it's hard to test at the same time every day. I hear most people get the surge in the middle of the day. So I hope I catch it ! Trying to be positive this month about it all. We're just trying to BD every other day. Hubby doesn't like having a schedule though he says it's not "fun" and I said well obviously no one wants to be on a schedule but you have to if we're trying. You never know when you will O.

Tested once more today with the OPK and it says I'm still really low after my spike yesterday so I think this is it!! Weeee! I hope it's a very sticky bean!

Every other day is ultimate from what most suggests. Better than every day. We are just really into bd'ing I guess Also, we both find the idea of creating a new life together exciting so instead of making it stressful, it is an aphrodisiac to us. Although the charting and fretting and stress is all me. He just laughs at me and wont even listen to statistics or stuff. He is sure it will happen. I wish I was as sure. It feels surreal and like such a beautiful dream. But maybe.....

Hi guys I've just come off bcp so I'm waiting to ovulate I normally have slightly irregular periods so I'm trying to figure it out with signs and cm! My boobs are sore and have had stabbing pains in my left side but cm is a bit sticky I think not really Ewcm so I don't no whats going on! Lol

Ricschick- yeah it's hard for me because I don't ever have sore boobs. Just try looking for ewcm and now taking OPK's. Maybe try those! I'm hoping to get my positive today so I know when to BD. what number are you trying for?

I have been monitoring CP and CM to pinpoint O, but we havn't been as often as we should I think.

This month it is going to be EVERY OTHER DAY... weather he likes it or not!

Any advice on detecting O without OPK or Temp would be appreciated!

Have any of you read taking charge of your fertility? I highly suggest it. It'll pretty much teach you how to look for signs and goes into how all of this fertility stuff works.

A good way is to check your cervix. You want to do it around the same time every day. When you're most fertile it will be high, open, and soft.

I've surged in the morning/overnight, so I like to take 2 or 3 cheapies a day.

Dh and I didn't manage to finish last night. We even did go at it twice, but the baby woke up from her nap. I haven't taken an opk today, but I will in a few hours. My ovacue says o tomorrow, but who knows. I'm getting sort of discouraged. We've only just started trying for this baby, but had a lot of trouble with my daughter. It took me more than a few years snd I had two losses right before. I'll be seeing a fertility specialist right off the bat this time. I have to call insurance today to see if they've fixed my referral so I can make the appointment today.

I've just been taking one OPK a day so I might end up missing it. I hope not though I would really like to know when it comes. How long are surges usually? And where can you find cheap OPK. I got a 7 pack from cvs for like 15 bucks.

Dtrisha we are ttc no6! We have decided to NTNP UNTIL AF COMES, I'm trying not to get obsessed with it straight away lol as it our first cycle so just trying to workout what my body is doing! X
